THINGS WE CAN’T CLEAN

There aren’t many things Scent Cleaning can’t clean. Below is the short list of common items we get asked for but can’t help with. There may be additional things we can’t do not on this list. If you have any questions, please give us a call.

If something is included in this list it’s there because we either aren’t carrying the proper coverage for the task or we don’t carry the equipment to do so.

In cases where you need help with the following let us know. In most cases, we have a specialist who can help you out.

• Unloading the Dishwasher
• Dishwashers and Washing Machines
• Garages, balconies & patios
• Tile grout (We clean shower grout, but deep stains or silicone discoloration may be permanent)
• Mold and mildew
• Flood damage
• Light bulbs & lighting fixtures
• Interior vents and heaters
• Exterior windows or windows at great heights
• Heavily deteriorated or mold-infested window tracks
• Fireplace
• Fire-related damage
• Removal of paint or construction residue from windows, countertops, and floors
• Odour removal and deodorization
• Carpet cleaning (We vacuum to remove dirt and debris)
• Bed Bug and Other Insects
• Walls
• Blinds (We clean vinyl and aluminum blinds)
• Cobwebs and dusting on high ceilings (10 feet or higher)
• Anything requiring tools for access, we do not disassemble or remove items (i.e. We do not clean windows with window screen that require tools to remove)
• Biological Waste
• Construction Cleaning

To help keep our teams safe we have a few requests.

Pets

We love pets but please, make sure your animals are out of harm’s way or locked up if necessary, it isn’t our responsibility to look after them.

Ladders

Our teams are only set up to clean which can be reached with a 2-step ladder

Heavy Objects

Our staff isn’t able to lift more than 30lbs. For their safety, If you require cleaning behind appliances or furniture please make accommodations to get these moved.

Biological Waste

We aren’t equipped to clean any chemical or biological waste. Let us know if you have any of these challenges and we’ll be happy to refer you to someone who can help with these messes.
